Or where it is difficult to distinguish between staging in a complete form and in a semi-staged form. The starting point is that the production stemmed out of the Concert Seasons of the Theatre as opposed of the normal Opera season. The consequent request to realize the production by creating a staging which utilized the internal forces of the Theatre led to an essential but not trivial setting in its technical and expressive articulation, as well as for the costumes and the video projections – an extremely malleable space in which the story of the migrants of Vacchi is exposed in an estranged manner, allowing for the inherent social and human tensions to emerge.
